Audience Feedback

Once I had completed my Final designs I wanted to get some audience feedback so I knew what people thought and also how I could improve it so that people are more likely to buy it.
I asked the audience what they liked about my magazine and the responses I got are that they liked the title on the front page as it is large and readable, they also like the fact that the D wasn't on the same alignment as the rest of the word. Another thing they commented on was that they liked the way I've used the same fonts throughout - keeping a house style. They also like the way I editted a rip onto my front cover as they thought it was "a bit edgy".
I also asked what they didn't like, the responses I got for this was that they didn't particularly like the green colour I used in the background as it is quite dull and it wasn't really carried on throughout. Another thing they pointed out was that, on the contents page, the writing goes over the picture on the left hand side making it difficult to read.
Idea's for improvement where to make the interview longer so people are getting their money's worth, to extend the image across the full double page so that it continues better, also to put another pull quote across the photo on the double page spread so that it catches peoples eye better. Also, on the contents page, to edit the text so it would go around the picture rather than over it. On the cover, suggestions for improvement include generally having more information about what is actually inside the magazine.
